World Suicide Prevention Day is September 10.

World Suicide Prevention Day is September 10.The 2021 theme for WSPD is "Creating Hope Through Action" which is what we strive for at HEB through our "Pathways to Hope" partnership and in our actions each day. At HEB we emphasize the importance of hope in our work with students and aim to create a movement of preventative action through kindness, safety, mental health awareness and support, community, empathy and acceptance. The International Association for Suicide Prevention reminds us that through action “you can make a difference to someone in their darkest moments - as a member of society, as a child, as a parent, as a friend, as a colleague or as a neighbour. We can all play a role in supporting those experiencing a suicidal crisis or those bereaved by suicide.” Join the international conversation on suicide prevention on social media by using the #WSPD2021 #CreatingHopeThroughAction  #creatingpathwaystohope
